What we did for a spray tanning franchise

A spray tanning brand with four studios in the Midwest and a plan to open in new cities. One pixel on its website now serves two different customers: locals for the studios, and franchise buyers in other markets. Numbers are from its dashboard on October 5, 2026, nine days after the pixel went on.

212website visitors named in nine days
39franchise prospects among them
21of those live in a city the brand already wants to open in
172visitors with a verified personal email

At this pace, six months

4,200
named website visitors
3,400
verified personal emails for the studios’ lists
780
franchise prospects, by the owner’s own thresholds

An estimate, not a result. It is the daily average of the first nine days carried for 182 days and rounded down, and it assumes the website’s traffic holds. A visitor who returns is named once, so the real count is likely to run lower.

The situation

One website. Two very different buyers walking through it.

The owner has no technical background. Her website told her how many people visited. It could not tell her which of them lived ten minutes from a studio, and which lived three hundred miles away with the means to open one.

What we put in

  • The Leads Avenue Pixel on the brand's website, from September 26
  • A dashboard built into the owner's own franchise portal, in her brand, not a separate login
  • A refresh every morning at 5:50 Eastern, with no one touching it
  • A nationwide franchise-intent lead list, delivered inside the same portal
One pixel, two businesses

Locals for the studios. Franchise buyers for the map.

The dashboard splits every named visitor by where they live. Inside 25 miles of a studio, they are a client to win. Outside every studio's trade area, with the means to invest, they are a franchise prospect.

90named visitors live within 25 miles of a studio. Clients to win.

122live outside every studio's trade area. 39 of them have the means to open one.

What it surfaced

Your next location is already visiting your website.

  1. A target city

Estimated net worth above $500K, household income above $250K. Before the pixel, one anonymous visit that left nothing behind.

  2. The same city

Estimated net worth above $500K. Went to the Membership page, which is where you look to see how the business makes money.

  3. Outside every market

Estimated net worth of $250K to $500K. Arrived from Instagram, so the brand's social content is reaching past its studios.

  4. The tripwire

Anyone who reaches the Licensing page is flagged at the top of the list with the time of each visit. Nobody has reached it yet.

A finding nobody was looking for

122 out-of-market visitors, 39 of them with the means, and not one reached the page that sells the opportunity. The next step is making that page easier to find. The pixel did not just produce prospects. It showed where the website was losing them.

Evidence about the marketing

Of the named visitors, 112 came directly and 93 from Google. Instagram and Facebook together produced 6 in nine days. Membership and Services are the inside pages people read most. Those are concrete things to act on.

Straight talk

What is not proven yet.

No bookings or franchise deals yet.

This client is nine days in. No revenue, appointments or signed locations are tied to these leads, and no email or ad campaign has gone out to the lists.

Net worth and income are estimates.

They are modeled ranges, not verified financials. A wealthy visitor to a tanning site is a prospect to contact, not a confirmed franchise inquiry.

The matches have not been audited.

They have not been checked against the brand's own client records yet. Connecting its booking system would allow that. Staff and owner visits are kept out of the counts.
